Beardy Meaner, via Third Ghee, is fundamentally commited to truth and honesty, so let us tell you some of the thing that Third Ghee is and is not:

  • We do not use any products in our standard dishes that are derived from animals. All dairy requirements are fulfilled via vegan alternatives such as coconut, soya and oats.
  • Our kitchen is constructed and kitted out using units and materials that have been locally sourced and (to the absolute best of our knowledge) are cruelty-free.

  • All recipes are entirely gluten-free, unless otherwise specificially stated.

  • We never use MSG, any other flavour enhancers, or anything else that could be considered unnatural, unexpected or unwanted. Visit Beardy Meaner to see exactly what goes in there. Truth and honesty is key, so watch closely to ensure there's no sleight of hand during the process!

On the subject of allergies, the food we prepare does not contain:

  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Milk
  • Crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs, lobster, crayfish)
  • Lupin, including seeds and flour (found in some types of bread, pastries and pasta)
  • Molluscs (clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails, squid)

The above are never used in our kitchen, so even trace amounts should not be possible.

Our food may contain trace amounts of the following:

  • Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats)
  • Soybeans
  • Nuts
  • Celery
  • Mustard
  • Sesame
  • Peanuts
  • Sulphur dioxide/sulphites (often used as a preservative in dried fruit)

These may be present within the kitchen, so whilst every precaution is taken, minimal cross-contamination is possible.

When a dish contains more than the possibility of trace amounts, we label it clearly.
